I am extremely disappointed with both the quality and customer service from Rheem. Our water heater is only 5 years old, yet we have been dealing with ongoing issues for over 6 months. Our water heater is only 5 years old, yet we have been dealing with ongoing issues for over 6 months. The entire experience has been frustrating, time-consuming, and unnecessarily expensive. About six months ago, Rheem required us to self-diagnose the unit using a multimeter during a 2+ hour video call with one of their technicians. Despite the time spent troubleshooting, the technician was unable to identify the issue and instead sent a replacement control board under warranty. Unfortunately, this did not resolve the problem—we continued to have no more than 15 minutes of hot water. We then paid for two separate Rheem-contracted plumbers to evaluate the system. After running diagnostics, they determined that the control board needed to be replaced again and that new heating elements should be installed. We paid $1,200 in labor for these repairs, only for the problem to remain exactly the same. After this, we contacted Rheem again, especially given that we used their Rheem Pro contracted plumber who was in communication with them during the repair. We were then told that an additional heating element needed to be replaced, but the part was out of stock—resulting in several more weeks of waiting. Today, the contracted plumber returned to install the second heating element. Immediately after, a new error code appeared indicating a failed compressor. We are now being told the entire unit needs to be replaced—after months of failed diagnoses, repeated repairs, and significant out-of-pocket costs. Rheem claims that their customers come first and that they aim to save customers money. That has not been our experience. At this point, I would strongly caution others before purchasing from Rheem. The lack of accurate diagnosis, poor customer support, and reliance on costly trial-and-error repairs have made this an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. Read more

Fake Warranty I bought a house with an older Rheem water heater and it lasted another 15 years. I replace it with another Rheem of the same type and the gas regulator when out year two. The tank started leaking year 4 of 6 year warranty. Rheem refused to honor the bogus 6 year warranty. Rheem is a once competent 100 year old U.S. company now owned by Japanese company Paloma Industries, Ltd. Rheem should understand the average consumer expects a major appliance to last 10 years. A very good experience here.Staff was nice. Check in at Gate 1. Then they will prompt you to gate 4. If your a live unload you have to drop trailer and wait bobtail and park by the security office. They will notify when the truck is unloaded. Drop and Hooks are in the same area. I did arrive early....A very good experience here.Staff was nice. Check in at Gate 1. It was a drop n hook for me, in and out in less than 45 mins. Check in at Gate 1, the security guards were very nice and helpful. The lady at shipping n recieving was also very nice and helpful. Dropped my loaded trailer at Gate 4, there checked in with security guard and she told me where to drop m...It was a drop n hook for me, in and out in less than 45 mins.
